The area around the lodge is home for thousands of Ring neck Pheasants,
Canada Geese, Whitetail Deer, Sharp tail Grouse, Mourning Doves,
and several species of Ducks. With this variety of wildlife to
hunt, we hunt all day every day!

In order to provide the best pheasant hunting in North Dakota and guarantee maximum bird populations, we have groomed each field for plenty of nesting habitat, food, water, and good shelter from the elements. Our staff takes great pride in land management and uses methods to help keep our planet going green for future generations. Rolling Plains Adventures North Dakota hunting and fishing lodge is located on the plains within historic Mckenzie, ND. The land has been family owned and operated since 1882 during the Homestead Act. It consists of over 10,000 acres of grass, cropland, small lakes, orchards, food plots, thick brush areas, trees, native grasslands, and much more. There are still wagon trails and old building foundations from the early settlers to explore within our hunting ranch. Learn about local history and witness some of the amazing sunsets while hunting one of the oldest working ranches in the state still in operation. |
